HD View is a new interactive image viewer developed by Microsoft Research's Interactive Visual Media group.

HD View allows the streaming of very high resolution images providing the user with smooth panning and zooming interaction. Please note this is beta software and is still under development by Micosoft.

HD View is an ActiveX^® browser component, thus the first time you use it you will be asked to install the component. It currently runs only in Internet Explorer^® under the Microsoft Windows^® operating system. A high speed broadband internet connection is recommended.
